This was my take on a male pin-up inspired by the work of Alphonse Mucha. The flowers around the figure are pansies, a tie back to the use of flowers for queer men to identify one another during the victorian period. I wanted to reclaim the use of pansy to describe a queer man and play with the concept of masculinity.
